Fundraising for St Mary's Rowing Club
All Rows Lead to Henley
Join the St Mary’s Rowing Club Fundraising Campaign!
At St Mary’s School, Cambridge, rowing is more than a sport – it’s a passion, a tradition, and a source of pride for our community. Over recent years, our rowing squads have shown extraordinary dedication and achieved incredible success.
What are we fundraising for?
We are reaching out to our amazing St Mary’s community to help us take a big step: we are setting ourselves a target to raise at least £10,000 for a telemetry system and new blades to support our talented rowers.
Rowing to Henley – a virtual route!
On Thursday 13 March, our rowers took on a remarkable challenge: they rowed a virtual 400 km route from Cambridge to Henley. Using rowing machines (ergos) set up in the school, the girls took turns to row from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, bringing the community together in an event that celebrated teamwork, determination, and school spirit.
How You Can Support
We invited the whole St Mary’s community to support us in reaching our fundraising goal and so far, you've helped us raise an amazing amount - over £5000!!! We can't thank you enough.
As our rowing squads get out on the river, compete in regattas and hopefully bring back some wins, you can still help us in our goal to raise funds for new blades and a new telemetry system.
We're aiming to raise £10,000.00. So far we've raised £5,057.00.
