Pastonians win first ever hockey match against St Mary's first XI

Once a St Mary's girl, always a St Mary's girl! Especially when it comes to hockey.

The first ever Pastonians vs St Mary's first XI hockey match on 16 September was an impressive game with the alumnae team holding on to a 2-1 lead as the whistle blew.

Refreshements in the fabulous Long Road Sports Pavillion - St Mary's joint project with Homerton College to provide a top quality sports facility - were gratefully received while the players spent time catching up with one another and with staff.

We are grateful to alumnae who so kindly gave up a sunny Saturday morning to remind our current students that there's a lot of truth in the saying "Once a St Mary's girl, Always a St Mary's girl!"

The winning team were: Lexi K., Emily H., Sophie H., Georgia G., Marennah P., Caitlin B., and Mariella R.

Congratualtions all round, on a match well played.
